Perth drivers should expect pain on the already packed roads

Planned upgrades to the Perth Convention Centre could cause 8 months of gridlock in the city.

Acting Mayor Bruce Reynolds told Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that while the city will collaborate with the government to minimise disruption, 21,000 cars daily will require diversion.
“There’s no bones about it, there’s going to be pain involved with this improvement,” he said.
