A young Perth couple have decided that the food we serve our dogs may not be good enough.

So they set up a home delivery service, Hello Doggo, giving healthy nutritious meals for your dog after researching what was in traditional dog food they were serving their pooch Hank, who had made several trips to the vet and was on medication for several health issues including skin issues and allergies.

“We found out pretty quickly that when we switched his diet to something that was fresh and with real ingredients that all of those issues cleared up pretty quickly and he hasn’t had problems with them since,” said Jamie Burnett, who along with partner Nat co-founded the home delivery service.

“It was a huge turnaround for him, so we started cooking him fresh and real food.

“The next step from that was looking at what a complete and balanced diet was … I did a bit of a deep dive, spoke to pet nutritionists, and we came up with this recipe, a few mates heard about that I started cooking batches for them in the kitchen and it just took off from there.”
