New data released by Airbnb has revealed Perth is one of the top ten travel spots in the world.

Coming in ninth place, Perth is one of three Australian cities alongside Sydney and Melbourne making the top ten.

Chief Executive of Experience Co and former commissioner for Tourism WA John O’Sullivan told 6PR Afternoons Perth is a travel hotspot.

“This has been a long time coming… I’m not surprised,” said Mr O’Sullivan.

“I think Perth has really started to become that other international gateway into Australia.”
