The WA seat of Pearce has never turned red in its 31-year history.

Held since 2013 by Christian Porter before his resignation last year, the seat is crucial to the outcome of the upcoming Federal Election.

Current Wanneroo mayor Tracey Roberts was in August endorsed by ALP as its candidate for the seat, with Labor leader Anthony Albanese saying she would be a “strong voice” for WA in Canberra.

“I want to absolutely make sure that the voices of our community in Pearce are heard in Canberra,” she told Larry Graham on 6PR Mornings.
