QR code tags, dubbed pet Pawsports, are set to change the way animal owners protect and keep track of their playful companions.

The small tag attached to a collar provides real-time tracking updates for when your pup gets lost.

Co-founder of Fetch’d Sam Chamberlain spoke with Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR’s Afternoons.

“Pet numbers within households are going through the roof and microchipping is definitely going down, hence why we’ve got the project,” Mr Chamberlain said.
