WA Police Commissioner Karl O’Callaghan admits some parents don’t know, or even care about, what their teenagers are up to on weekends.

A 12 year old and a 14 year old were among five people charged with offences during an out of control gathering in South Lake on Saturday night, the 12 year old boy faces an assault public officer charge.

Mr O’Callaghan tells Gary Adshead on the 6PR Morning Show  taxpayers foot the enormous bill that comes with police officers picking kids up and taking them home.
