This is a critical societal issue, argues Georgie Dent, CEO of The Parenthood. Speaking to 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl, she explained that the burden of covering childcare should not rest solely on the parents’ shoulders, calling for a collective solution:

“What can businesses do, what can organisations do, what can the government do, what can individual families do to navigate these gaps,” she said.
