Fremantle can break through and play finals this season while their cross-town rivals slip further from finals contention, according to 9 News Perth and 6PR sports presenter Paddy Sweeney.

Like many AFL pundits, Sweeney tips West Coast to slide and the Dockers to play finals under Justin Longmuir.

Wooden spoon – North Melbourne
Rising Star – Jason Horne-Francis (Kangaroos)
Dockers finish – 8th
Eagles finish – 12th
