There is a major backlog of visa processing in Australia due to staff shortages at processing centers.

Minister for Immigration, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs Andrew Giles assured 6PR Mornings host Liam Bartlett the backlog won’t last for long.

“I’m confident we’ll be at the level we need to be by the end of the year,” said Mr Giles
