The original Wiggles will embark on an ‘adults only’ tour around the country next year with support from some of Australia’s best rock acts.

Anthony Field, Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt and Greg Page will perform the groups most iconic songs at arenas across Australia in February through to May next year.

There will also be cameos from favourites such as Captain Feathersword, Dorothy The Dinosaur, Wags The Dog, and Henry The Octopus.

But it promises to be a different kind of Wiggles performance with a variety of support acts including Polish Club and DZ Deathrays announced for each show.

Red Wiggle Murray Cook told Ollie Peterson the show plays into people’s sense of nostalgia.

“It’s for the all ones who were five or six in the 90s and 2000s and who are looking back with nostalgia,” he told Ollie Peterson on 6PR Breakfast.

“It’s just some fun, they come and relive their childhood.”

They will perform at the RAC Arena in Perth on April 9, 2022.

Tickets go on sale from October 22.
