Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers has indicated Australia has rejected calls from the Trump administration to lift defence spending to 3.5 per cent of GDP.

Shadow Defence Minister Angus Taylor spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said boosting defence spending in Australia was “the right thing to do”.
