WA Opposition Leader Mia Davies has detailed her main gripes with Thursday’s 2022 WA Budget and offered alternative policy on key sectors on Friday.

She told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings where the Opposition believes it can improve WA’s economy and had misgivings about the $400 power bill credit lauded by Premier Mark McGowan as the cost-of-living relief WA families required.

She says although the $5.7B surplus was positive, many fees will rise from July 1, including electricity (up 2.5%) and drivers’ licences (up 6.4%).
