The pitch invader who ran onto Optus Stadium during the AFL Grand Final has been fined for trespassing.

Abra Bol was fined $1,200 today for running onto the Optus Stadium field in his underwear during three-quarter time at last weekend’s grand final.

Mr Bol said he’ll be able to cover the fine thanks to crowd finding efforts.

Oliver Peterson believes the fine should have been $12,000, saying “there’s no punishment or financial imposition for Abra Bol at all, who says he is not working and receives Centrelink benefits.”
