An offender is on the run after an allegedly stolen car ploughed into a Balcatta home.

Emergency services were called to the Barker Avenue property just after 4am  after a grey Subaru sedan smashed into the home’s front doors and garden.

6PR reporter Anne Naylor told Gareth Parker on Breakfast there’s significant damage that will take some time to clean up.

“DFES is still working to get this gas leak isolated that was caused by this crash,” she said. “There’s a lot going on.”
