The State Secretary of the Australian Nursing Federation has met with Health Minister Amber Jade Sanderson to raise concerns about how health workers will manage the reopening of WA’s borders.

Mark Olson believes the state government is failing to provide a proper plan for how the health system will cope with Covid from February 5.

Mr Olson joined Jo McManus on Perth LIVE to raise some of the major concerns for the ANF.

He said health workers should be given rapid antigen tests now so they’re on hand by the time they’re needed.
