‘Government insults ANF members’: Nurses slam Public Sector offer

Millsy & Karl

The Australian Nursing Federation has slammed the state government amid an ongoing dispute over pay and conditions.

Gareth Parker revealed on 6PR Breakfast that despite a new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement being sent to the ANF overnight, the union doesn’t accept the offer – and it will soon release more information on industrial action.

“Earlier this afternoon, the government sent their Public Sector EBA offer to a journalist at The West Australian, and an article with details about the offer appeared online at 8pm and will be on the front page on Tuesday,” the email read.

“Have a think about that for a moment, in terms of how you take care of business,” Parker said.

“The idea that this will result in some sort of breakthrough, I think, is fair to say that we’re a long way from that.”
