A New South Wales truck driver has been fined around $5500 for breaching Western Australia border protocols.

Liam Glendenning and his co-driver provided fake COVID-19 test results to police at the Eucla checkpoint in South Australia in October.

The truck driver was also caught inside a bottle shop without a mask when he was supposed to be in quarantine.

New South Wales was considered an extreme risk zone at the time.
