The Northern Territory have cancelled their annual Cracker Night, the event that celebrates Territory Day. While some are upset to miss the festivities and others are inconvenienced because they have to hand back their fireworks, anecdotally the public are understanding of the risks the night causes with COVID-19 still looming.

Greg Thomson is the Northern Territory News General Manager and has his finger on the pulse, as he discusses the NT Government cancellation with Simon and then the reopening of pubs, cafes and restaurants at the end of this week (with restrictions)…
