West Coast star Nic Naitanui is on track to make his anticipated return from injury in Sunday’s clash against Richmond.

Naitanui trained with the main group at the Eagles’ Mineral Resources Park base, pulling up well from his WAFL hitout against South Fremantle on Saturday.

Eagles spearhead Josh Kennedy, fresh from five goals in the win against the Bombers on the weekend, told Mark Gibson during his regular 6PR Breakfast segment the All-Australian ruckman would likely return for the clash with the Tigers.

“It was good to see him back out there, he’ll be managed again this week, hopefully he’s back because he’s a quality player,” Kennedy said.
