An RAC survey of 150 young WA drivers has found they hold concerning levels of overconfidence behind the wheel.

RAC external relations general manager Will Golsby spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said the survey found some young drivers thought speeding and using a mobile phone without hands free activated on WA roads was okay.
