New report highlights long-term impact of WA’s housing crisis

The “Housing Affordability in Western Australia 2023: Building for the Future” report highlights the severity of the States housing crisis and the long-term consequences it will have on the future.
Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute’s Curtin University director Professor Steven Rowley homelessness has increased by eight per cent in the last two years.
“There is no end in sight,” said Professor Rowley.
“There is no quick easy fix… we’re in for quite a lot of pain moving forward.”
