New report finds cost blow outs and delays on major state projects

An Auditor General report has assessed 17 major state government projects, finding an 11% increase on budgets, and 7 projects having their completion dates pushed out by a year or more.
This includes two Metronet projects as well as the Geraldton Health Campus redevelopment and the Tonkin Hwy gap separation project both being well over two years in delays.
Oliver Peterson spoke with Caroline Spencer from the Auditor General, to discuss how these cost and time increases are continuing to occur.
