After 17 years hosting A Current Affair and 40 years on television, Tracy Grimshaw has called it a day, with new names emerging in the battle to replace her.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast that Today show host Karl Stefanovic does not want the job but some new frontrunners had emerged, including Perth’s Tracy Vo.

“I think it’s a bit like The Hunger Games in there at the moment,” Ford said.
