The government has revealed a significant new investment in Western Australia’s renewable energy sector, launching two new tenders under the Capacity Investment Scheme.

Assistant Minister for Climate Change and Energy, Josh Wilson, told Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that this initiative is aimed at boosting both renewable energy generation and storage capacity within the state.

Wilson affirmed, “These two new tenders under the CIS will keep WA on that path to cheaper, cleaner, self-reliant energy.”
