A new COVID-19 clinic in Wanneroo is causing a massive slump in turnover for local businesses and road-rage incidents among local motorists.

AutoPro Wanneroo owner Mark Reader told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast his small family business and others around him was being severely impacted due to traffic caused by the testing clinic.

“With no traffic management in the last two weeks, it’s absolutely slaughtered out trade and I imagine the businesses around me as well, and it’s also a danger, there’s a massive traffic problem, people trying to pull out into the fast lane. Yeah it’s been terrible, turnovers down and it’s hurting,” he told Parker.

“Main Roads said ‘yeah it’s a hazard’ then sent us another email that basically just fobbed us off.”
