Despite rigorous army training and years of service, thousands of national servicemen have been denied a Veteran’s Gold Card which covers their medical expenses.

A new campaign has been launched called Nasho Fair Go to try and get veterans access to the card.

Nasho Fair Go, WA Organiser David Butterfield told 6PR Afternoons the government is refusing to support their campaign.

“We haven’t had any success,” said Mr Butterfield.

“We have been given a whole reason as to why they’re not eligible.”
