More than 2,000 incidents of abuse, violence, and aggression against pool staff last year have motivated Royal Life Saving to launch a ‘Keep Cool in the Pool’ campaign.

RJ Houston from Royal Life Saving Australia explained to 6PR’s Chrissy Morrissy how there should be zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.

“They’re there to keep you and your children safe at the pool. It’s so important that every community member supports lifeguards and swim teachers,” he said.
