Mother and disability advocate Jo Russell told 6PR Mornings host Chrissy Morrissy that many of the proposed changes will leave recipients underfunded and under-resourced, negatively impacting their quality of life. For instance, the NDIS proposes funding only single impairments.

“Real people are not single issue diagnosis, so complex participants like Megan will be catastrophically underfunded”, she said.
