Nationals MPs have been meeting at state parliament this afternoon for several hours now, but there’s still no word on whether Brendon Grylls has succeeded in reclaiming the party leadership from Terry Redman.

Mr Grylls says the conservative parties are currently not in an election-winning position, and action is needed.

The meeting has now been adjourned.

State Political Editor at The West Australian newspaper was outside the party room meeting and he spoke with Adam Shand after the adjournment.
