Fremantle is not the only club missing a midfield star after captain Nat Fyfe injured a hamstring at training on Saturday.

6PR sports presenter Tania Armstrong broke the news on Wednesday that key Bulldog Tom Liberatore will also miss Saturday night’s elimination final at Optus Stadium, while doubts remain over fellow Dogs star Bailey Smith.

“Libba’s played every game this year, he averages 24 disposals, he did quite a lot of damage last time they played the Dockers, he had 28 disposals and eight clearances,” she told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast.

Fyfe, 30 has had an injury-riddled season and was looking to feature in Fremantle’s first finals campaign since 2015.
