Nat Fyfe will give the Dockers a huge boost playing his first game in 10 months on Saturday against Hawthorn at Optus Stadium.

Speaking to Gareth Parker in his regular Thursday segment on 6PR Breakfast, All-Australian defender Luke Ryan said the captain would be a great asset to have back in the team as an option up forward for the all-conquering 9-3 side.

Ryan, whose ripped jumper was being put up for auction by the club, said he was excited by Fyfe’s return.

“He’s always there and he always stands up for me… everyone walks out taller when he’s playing.”
