NASA has launched its new moon rocket, Artemis One with three test dummies aboard.

If the trial is successful, it will be the first time astronauts have been on the moon since the Apollo program 50 years ago.

Associate Professor Sascha Schediwy from the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont space is becoming more and more accessible.

“It’s a big change from the Apollo area… space is becoming really accessible,” said Mr Schediwy.
