‘My heart’s been opened up’: Ross Lyon dead keen on changing St Kilda narrative

The reunion between St Kilda and AFL coach Ross Lyon appears as close as ever after the four-time grand final coach said his heart had “opened up” to the club which he famously left in acrimonious circumstances 11 years ago.
After meetings between Lyon and the club’s hierarchy this week pointed to his seemingly inevitable return to Moorabbin as senior coach, Lyon confirmed as much late on Thursday.
6PR sports presenter Paddy Sweeny told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast that Lyon says he has fallen back in love with the Saints. “This is quite the setting, roses I would imagine on the bed,” Sweeney said.
