Music industry rallies together to promote COVID-19 vaccine

Australia’s music industry has stepped up their promotion of the COVID-19 vaccine with the launch of an ad campaign called ‘Vax The Nation’.
Tour promoters, music festivals, venues and over 220 artists have backed the campaign which highlights the importance of vaccines in the roadmap out of lockdowns.
Hunters and Collectors frontman Mark Seymour says it’s come to the point where artists have to appeal the public.
“The bottom-line issue is vaccination,” He told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast.
“All of the gigs that we’re piloting, putting into our calendars are constantly getting postponed.
“We’re hoping that 2022 is the year that it comes back … but that’s the issue promoters are dealing with right now.”
