A family of asylum seekers who were forced to leave their home in the Queensland town of Biloela, were today granted access by Treasurer Jim Chalmers to return home when they wish.

Oliver Peterson spoke with Suresh Rajan, the Ethnic Communities Council WA President about the compassionate decision by the Albanese Government.
