Motorcyclist killed in Perth inner suburbs crash

A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a traffic light pole in Highgate.
It happened at the intersection of William Street and Brisbane Street just before 1am on Wednesday.
The crash caused the bike to burst into flames.
The rider was taken to hospital but later died.
The intersection has now been reopened after Major Crash investigators finished examining the scene.
