More tents, more homelessness: is this a sign of the times?

On today’s edition of 6PR Mornings, Gary Adshead passionately addressed the sightings of tents set up on the side of busy Perth roads, and questioned whether or not it was a sign of the times.
Mr Adshead noticed the tents at two different locations within 10 minutes during a commute, and commented that it’s clear the housing crisis is hitting individuals and families hard
“I don’t know the circumstances of those living in the tents, but I think it’s worth highlighting some home truths about the state and the country on Federal budget today,” he said.
“Housing and rental shortages coupled with the cost of getting into a property, isn’t getting better, it’s getting worse.”
