Severe staff shortages at Wyndham Hospital have been blamed on a merry-go-round of social issues and lack of action from law and order authorities.

Wyndham/East Kimberley Liquor Accord chair Darren Spackman said the community was having major issues with hospital staffing and alcohol-related admissions.

“We live in a small community and we all rely on each other,” he told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings.

“We work very well with the police and feel very connected to the hospital … but there is concern that we have got to this stage.”
