Mobile phone ban sees student behaviour improve by 90%

Jamie Burnett

Davidson High School in Sydney has banned mobile phones for students in years 7 to 10, where they are now reporting a 90% improvement in student behaviour.

CEO of Real Schools, Adam Voight told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live that these results were unsurprising.

“This is a really good example of a school saying you know what we’ve picked our side, we’re gonna do it well and they’re getting the results from the fruit of that,” Mr Voight told Oly.

“It shows that their implementation has been thorough and strong – however there are certain places where this is easier to implement than others.”
