Fresh off a World Cup triumph in India, Mitch Marsh has spent his first few days back home in Perth resting up and preparing for a big summer of cricket.

The Bison joined Wide World of Sports on Thursday night and was already looking forward to a busy summer of cricket.

“I’ve worked really hard to get back into the test team and playing another test at home in front of friends and family would be an awesome experience.”

Although he remained coy on the potential of playing with fellow West Aussie and all-rounder Cam Green, Marsh did share some light-hearted perspectives.

“I always joke with him that he’s ending my career”

“The more West Australians in the team, the better I say.”
