The search for a 73-year-old prospector who went missing in December is continuing in the same area where German backpacker Carolina Wilga was found.

Independent missing person tracker Rick Heaton says he found Barry Padmore’s car in May and believes he’s in the right area to find the missing prospector.

“I do believe I’m in the right area for him,” he told Simon Beaumont.

He added he’s found some areas impacted by humans, but has not been able to determine how old the impacts are.
