Police Minister Paul Papalia has laughed off rumours the WA Police Commissioner’s job is on the line and has reinforced his support behind state police operations.

Mr Papalia said he was in full support of Police Commissioner Col Blanch and applauded recent actions including Operation Beech, which had prevented  record amount of cocaine from entering the country.

The minister also touched on Corruption and Crime Commissioner John McKechnie’s comments on the use of police dogs, saying while he didn’t share his views, he respected them.
