Energy Minister Chris Bowen has finally acknowledged Australia’s fuel supply crisis, a complete reversal of his prior stance.

His approval of an additional 100 million litres of domestic high-sulphur fuel, dubbed ‘dirty fuel’, into the market has incensed 6PR Breakfast host Millsy.

He argues the Minister’s early dismissiveness only proves why the public has lost faith in politicians:

“The federal government have declared the fuel shortage in Australia was nothing to see here, nothing at all. Yesterday it swung and it’s now a national crisis,” he said.
