Millsy makes his way to Derby

LONG WAY TO THE TOP: DERBY
Day 20: The majestic small town of Derby in the Kimberly is the last stop in the penultimate week of Millsy’s Long Way To The Top tour.
Before the tour makes it’s turn for the final week, Millsy set up the program and broadcast from the town’s information center under the shade of a boab tree.
Steeped in history and ancient history, Derby is filled with sacred indigenous sites, and Julian Tylor, who runs the Discover Windjana Tour, told Millsy stepping into the sacred Windjana Gorge is “almost like an incredible spiritual experience”.

Millsy also learnt about the Derby Outback Rodeo and Campdraft, an event where the winner takes home $37,000.
Rodeo Veteran and organiser of the event, Kerry Stanley, told Millsy there’s a lot to it.
“It’s a lot of skill, and you have to be very brave,” she said on 6PR Afternoons.
