It looks like Metronet is, finally, about to leave the station.

The Forrestfield-Airport Link, which includes the Redcliffe, Airport Central and High Wycombe stations, are about to come on line, with a practice run taking place on Tuesday after weeks of training.

Transport Minister Rita Saffioti joined 6PR Breakfast host Michael Genovese, in for Gareth Parker, before jumping aboard the train.

“We made a decision to delay the project two years, as a result of some safety concerns in the construction process,” she told Gena.
