McDonald’s workers are seeking at least $250 million in compensation for more than 250,000 people.

The Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association (SDA), the union for fast food workers, have reached out to 10,000 McDonald’s employees who said they didn’t get the paid entitled rest breaks at 328 operators across Australia.

SDA secretary Gerard Dwyer told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast the action was aimed at stopping “completely unacceptable behaviour” over the past six years.
