Mayor outlines plans for Australia’s first trackless tram along iconic West Coast route

The parking lot at one of Perth’s biggest local council administration centres will soon play a small part in the long-awaited push for Australia’s first trackless tram to one day run along an iconic slice of the coastal route.

City of Stirling Mayor Mark Irwin spoke with Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR’s Afternoons and said a trackless tram will provide great transport efficiency and effectiveness.
