Glenn Maxwell has written himself into the history books to secure Australia’s place in the ODI World Cup Semi-Finals.

Afghanistan were just three wickets away from a famous upset, with Australia seven for 91 and chasing 292.

But Maxwell smashed an unbeaten 201 runs from just 128 balls, dragging Australia to victory.
