The Matildas have confirmed they will head to regional WA, with Bunbury set to host Panama at Hands Oval in July.

City of Bunbury Mayor Jaysen de San Miguel explained to Perth Live host Oliver Peterson the reason behind the major effort to bring big sporting events to Bunbury.

“We need to give people a reason to get off the road and stop in at Bunbury and have a look around, so events like this certainly do that,” he said.
