Massive clean-up underway after rare wind-driven storm
Emergency services have responded to nearly 700 calls for help following a severe storm in the region.

The system, unusual for this time of year, delivered punishing wind gusts overnight, which peaked at 135km/h at Cape Naturaliste.
DFES duty chief superintendent Matt Folini told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that it’s all hands on deck, with over 150 staff and volunteers assisting with a wide range of hazards.
“Very much a wind-driven event and quite widespread”, he said.
